Director, Property Management

Jeanne Baker

Ms. Baker has more than 30 years of experience as a licensed realtor, including 15 years managing and marketing affordable senior communities. She is responsible for overseeing marketing and leasing for all the Alden Foundation developments and oversees property managers responsible for the Foundation’s affordable independent living communities. Ms. Baker also assists in identifying new sites for development.

Property Manager

JoAnne Schneiderwind

In May 2008, Ms. Schniederwind joined the Fox River Horizon Community as Property Manager. She previously served as the Director of Operations for the Elgin Housing Authority. Ms. Schniederwind has more than 15 years of experience in the areas of senior services and property management. She serves on the board of United Way and works with AARP in compiling tax returns for seniors. As JoAnne states, "I'm dedicated to our senior population and look forward to many years of helping to make my residents' lives happier."

Maintenance Engineer

Errol Wheeler

Mr. Wheeler has worked at Fox River Horizon since December 2003 as Maintenance Engineer for both buildings. He is available to the residents 24/7 and helps with whatever they may need. He has extensive experience in Property Management and Maintenance and believes he has finally found his true home at Fox River Horizon. As he says, "I love working with the senior population and keeping these beautiful buildings up and running."
